One-size diapers are truly a cloth diapering parent’s best friend. The problem I ran in to with my babies, was a true “one-size” diaper didn’t fit my tiny newborns/young infants. Because of this, I’ve designed two sizes that grow with your baby. Use the size 1 for newborns and infants up to 15lbs (gauged more for smaller/thin babies). The Size 1 is slightly shorter in rise, trimmer through the legs, and also more trim through the waist area for those babies that just can't fit a standard one size diaper yet. For the rest of the world, there is the standard Size 2 diaper for 8-38lbs. The size 2 is going to be the most commonly used diaper, and offer a much longer span of time it can be used. I offer the choice of aplix or snap closure, and with a variety of colors and prints, you’re sure to find something for every little one in your life.
You can purchase these diapers in either a pocket diaper style, or now we also offer an AI2 (All-In-Two)!
The Pocket style diaper has a pocket opening at the back of the diaper, with a flap to cover the opening, helping keep your insert in place, as well as provide protection for baby's skin if you choose to use microfiber. You have the option of ordering the diaper alone, or a diaper with insert. The insert is made from double layer organic charcoal bamboo fleece, with a microfiber core, and serged around the edges for a durable wear insert. These inserts are so thirsty, they wash easy, and dry quickly!
With the AI2 style, you will receive the diaper shell, along with the snake style soaker that snaps into the diaper, in both the front and back, holding it in place and preventing soaker droop. This diaper can be washed with the soaker still attached, or it can be removed. The soaker is made from organic bamboo fleece on the top layer next to baby's skin, a microfiber core, and organic charcoal bamboo fleece on the bottom of the soaker. This combination is SO absorbent, and the combo of the microfiber core with the bamboo fleece outer, helps prevent compression leaks, as well as having antimicrobial properties to prevent the growth of bacteria and smells! Additional snap in inserts can be bought separately as well, to allow for changing the soaker, and reusing the shell.
These diapers are made with an outer, waterproof layer of Eco-PUL. Eco-PUL is made with a "green" adhesive that is solvent-free, environmentally friendly, and releases no volatile organics. The TPU lamination film is also safe for human health. It is made in the USA and is fully CPSIA compliant.
The inner layer (next to baby's skin) is made from a stay-dry alova suedecloth. This fabric is so soft and delicate, it's perfect for both comfort and functionality.
